Dr. Pooja Kumar
Dr. Kumar received her Bachelors of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Bangalore University, India in 2002. She soon married and moved to United States of America to be with her newly-wed husband Ashish. To pursue her dream of helping patients with their dental needs and opening her practice one day, she pursued her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree at University of Colorado, School of Dental Medicine graduating in 2006. Since graduation, Dr. Kumar practiced dentistry in a variety of settings helping a diverse group of patients ranging from kids to adults to seniors. In 2011, Dr. Kumar joined US Naval Reserves, where she served up till recently before deciding to open her own practice in Trafalgar. In her spare time, Dr. Kumar loves being a busy mom to her 2 kids.

With well over 15 years of experience caring for patients within the community, Ashlie has joined our team here at Crossroads Family Dentistry as our lead assistant and EFDA. Ashlie completed her education in 2002, and is a graduate of Indiana University School of Dentistry. She later returned to Indiana University School of Dentistry to continue her education and she received her certification in coronal polishing and fluoride application. Throughout her career, Ashlie has always kept up to date on all the latest technology and techniques to ensure that the patients that she meets will receive the best care possible. It has always been her passion to educate her patients with the knowledge they need to better understand the recommended treatment they receive. She always prefers that her patients leave their dental experience feeling more knowledgeable about their dental health and passionate about their home care. When not practicing dentistry, Ashlie enjoys spending time with her children, taking care of her mother, and playing with her pets.
